These are fantastic for just about any kind of storage. You can buy them at Hobby Lobby or Pottery Mart for .99 to 1.99!

Misleading picture, otherwise product fine Jun 13, 2010

Product and description (and frankly price) led me to believe I'd be getting six boxes, not one. The product itself if fine, I just wouldn't pay the price for one box when I can find the same thing elsewhere for less.

Photo Storage Dec 28, 2008
By Toni Ullrich I was looking for a box to store photos when I ordered this. It worked great for my 4X6 pictures and even my 5X7 pictures with a little triming. Very sturdy box!

I somehow got the unenviable responsibility of sorting through my mom's pictures. My mom is nearing 70, bless her heart, and has been a photo collector throughout her life. She probably has more historical pictures, going back to the 19th century, than my dad's family or her siblings. While mom has an eye for important mementoes, she will freely admit a dearth of talent in organizing. I, myself, am just an amateur at the latter. After months of trying to scan the first 100th or so of the pile into Photoshop Elements, I gave up and began searching for an alternative. This turns out to be it. Originally I'd hoped that I'd have each picture annotated and attractively arranged in a bunch of scrapbooks, but eventually I realized that neither mom nor myself will probably survive the next fifty years, which is how long I think it would take me to do that. So far I've filled about 10 of these, using the dividers to sort them by date. My final plan is to use each box chronologically, but I won't worry about that till they're all boxed. The best part of using these boxes for very old pictures is that the assurance that an acid free environment will be kinder than my families' shoeboxes and laundry baskets to the well-being of the portfolio. Once I'm done, my hope is to have created a way for us to preserve the photos, while making them easy to find and view, as well.

By D. E. Washington Pretty boxes. Purchased two of these boxes to hold remotes and to hold audio books. They worked well and the price was excellent.
